The UC Davis Health Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine includes a dynamic and diverse team of over 93 attending physicians, 55 CRNAs, 74 residents and fellows, and more than 25 administrative and support staff. In a team-care model, department members provide evidence-based, compassionate care to patients of all ages – total care for every aspect of injury, from prevention through rehabilitation, across all specialties.
As the region’s only academic medical center, we play a vital role in serving a 33-county, 65,000-square-mile area that stretches north to the Oregon border and east to Nevada. Our anesthesiologists provide care to patients of all ages, across all specialties, and work in a variety of clinical settings including our level I Trauma Center, state-of-the-art Children’s Surgery Center, Same Day Surgery Center, a Center of Excellence for Burn Care, and our new outpatient surgery center – the 48X Complex.
