The UC Davis CTSC Data Science and Informatics Program supports enterprise data warehousing, institutional research data policy, enterprise clinical trial management systems, and computing support for research data systems. CTSC Data Science has accelerated capacity and improved efficiency through HIPAA-compliant cloud research computing platforms for clinical and translational investigators and provides institutional training resources for foundational skills and training in clinical informatics, public health, and data science. We provide broad service and innovation expertise across all phases of the clinical and translational lifecycle.
The Biomedical Informatics program offers data planning and implementation services to researchers through database development and management, terminology services and training in the use of informatics research tools.
The Biorepositories Core Resource supports the advancement of the UC Davis research community’s success in biospecimen-related research by providing education, outreach and training to its faculty, staff and students as well as creating efficient biospecimen management systems for the University and its collaborators.
The EMR Research team was established to help clinical researchers take full advantage of tools within the Epic electronic medical record system for their research projects. The team consists of a dedicated group of analysts specializing in Epic's Research module. We work collaboratively with researchers in an effort to enhance the functionality and overall effectiveness of research workflows in the EMR. We offer a variety of services ranging from workflow training to study-specific requests in the EMR.
