Clinical Interests

Dr. Baskota is a passionate board-certified cytopathologist who is skilled in performing superficial and ultrasound guided FNA biopsies. Dr. Baskota's additional expertise include breast and neoplastic lung pathology. She has special clinical interest in cancer diagnoses in small biopsy specimens.

 

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Baskota's research focuses on promoting the use of social media for pathology education, as well as encouraging future generation of medical students to pursue pathology as their career choice. Dr. Baskota is also interested in non-gynecologic minimally invasive cytopathology research and in identifying therapeutic targets for breast carcinomas.
